Midwest Tour Video #1

Yesterday we left NYC a little before 8am and got to Carmel, IN to stay at Lauren’s parents’ before our first show in Champaign, IL tonight.

As you’ll notice, I was a little late to pick up Lauren. There was a lot of gear to pack. When we finally hit the road, we immediately hit Holland Tunnel traffic. Apparently they had to close it for unscheduled construction. No idea what happened and I didn’t stick around to find out–I drove over the plastic barrier and we got out of the city via Brooklyn. Unfortunately that was a spur of the moment decision and we didn’t get it on camera (probably for the best, I don’t think it was a legal move).
